Chapter 737 Viola was being provocative with her attitude. She no longer hid her hatred for Melanie as she darted a taunting look at her before saying, “You should start thinking about how you're going to apologize tolater.” She turned and left after that.

She was dressed exquisitely pretty today with a bright look.

Melanie looked simple and gloomy in a black suit compared to her.

Viola disappeared around the corner, and Yvonne said angrily, “What sort of attitude is that? Did the judge tell her that she has already won the case?” Xander reminded her in a low volce, “Don’t say any nonsense.” Melanie did not react to Viola. All she cared about was the result.

The trial began at ten. Zara and Luther shot daggers at each other, and neither of them backed down.

Luther had managed to shoot down all of Zara’s evidence and said righteously, “Miss Henson has mentioned the witness, Dylan Lancaster, more than once. From what | understand, she has been diagnosed with mental issues while being detained in prison.

“A few days ago, she even showed signs of suicide and is now in the hospital.

“Her husband, George Chapman, owes a huge debt. He has reached out to the plaintiff before to request her to fulfill her responsibility as a daughter by paying his debts.

“There's also the critically ill daughter of Dylan Lancaster. The plaintiff accused my client of all these crimes after these things happened, which has convinced us that the plaintiff is using this opportunity to extort money from her through deremetiopy Luther said this with conviction. Melanie looked at the gleeful look on Viola's face. Her exquisite makeup was unable to hide the delight in her expression.

Zara swept a light glance at them and asked, “Mr. Laing claims that Dylan Lancaster has mental issues, but there’s no evidence of this. Isn't this defamation as well? If the defendant insists that this is true, please provide us with evidence from the hospital.” Dylan had never conducted any psychiatric assessment, but Zara had suggested she get one after she attempted to jump off the building.

The assessment proved that Dylan was sane and had no mental issues.

Luther had no evidence to back his claims, but he was not flustered at all as he looked into Zara's eyes. Instead, he calmly requested for Dylan to be called to the witness stand.

Melanie's heart skipped a beat.

After she rushed back from Oskon City last night, she met up with Zara and went to the hospital after that.

Cracker 737 2/2 Melanie had planned to see Dylan, but Dylan had already fallen asleep. She had been emotionally unstable recently and required the help of sleeping pills to go to sleep. The nurses said that Dylan had requested them.

Before she headed to court in the morning, Melanie received a call from James. He told her that he would be bringing Dylan over, but she was not in a great condition. Melanie had not thought much of it as she was rushing to see Zara.

However, the question she did not manage to ask this morning was now answered. Melanie looked at Luther's calm expression and remembered Viola's taunting words that morning...

Melanie's face fell.

Zara noticed Melanie's gaze and looked subtly to the side. Her sharp eyes met Melanie's eyes for a few seconds before she turned away to look at the judge.

Dylan looked sickly when she was brought into court. Her head was bandaged, and her wound had not healed. She cin in a wheelchair.

It was obvious that her movement was limited. She could only rub her hands as she looked in Viola's direction.

Luther frowned slightly. Dylan quickly looked away and turned to Melanie instead.

Her micro movement was caught by Melanie, who had been observing her.

There was a dim look in Melanie's eyes as she quietly kept a stoic expression on her face.
