Viola was not too loud, but the interns near her could hear everything she said. Therefore, their faces

fell. However, Melanie was still calm. “You can leave if there’s nothing else.”

Viola chuckled dryly. “I was just being nice.”

However, Melanie ignored her so she could only leave. Yet, she felt horrible and figured Melanie was

still looking down on her.

Before she could leave, she heard an intern saying, “Melanie, why is she getting tenure from our

department? Isn’t she from upstairs?”

“She hasn’t been transferred officially,” Melanie said.

“I see.” The interns‘ voices trailed off. Everyone in LeapCo knew that Viola was dating Mr. Scott.

Yana blurted out when she saw the different expressions on the interns‘ faces, “What are you worried

about? With her performance and ability, I think there’s nothing on her report. Of course, LeapCo

doesn’t just want pretty people.”

the table in front of Melanie. “What are you thinking about? I called you a few times.”

“Melanie is thinking about the problem of the century,” Yana told Tina about Viola and a few interns.
