Jenson ignored everyone’s surprised looks. He walked quickly to Leon and said with a respectful smile,

“What brings you here to our company, Mister Wolf?”

“Oh, I’m here to discuss a possible cooperation,” Leon replied with a smile.

“Cooperation? Oh, you mean the cooperation between the Elegante Group and the Wick Group? My

grandfather just called me and said that he agreed with you to sign the contract during dinner tonight.

Why did you come here in advance?” Jenson was surprised.

He was solely responsible for the Wick Group’s sales channels business, and Bernard spoke to him

about it on the phone earlier.

Startled, Gilbert rushed over in a hurry and tried to come up with an excuse for his despicable behavior.

“No, Mister Wick, that’s not what happened, I didn’t-

“Shut your mouth! I don’t want to hear any of your excuses! Mister Wolf is our family’s honored guest.

You must be getting tired of life if you went so far as to disrespect him and his friend!” Jenson was so

furious that he slapped Gilbert in the face and nearly sent the latter flying to one side.

Leon, who saved the life of Jenson’s grandfather, was more credible and trustworthy than Gilbert in

Jenson’s eyes. Gilbert could argue all he wanted, but it was all pointless!

“The Wicks‘ honored guest?”

The onlookers were shocked. No one expected Leon to have connections with Jenson, and it was even

more surprising to hear that he was treated as an esteemed guest!

Such an association was a huge one!

“Mister Wick, I didn’t do anything of the sort. He’s lying. Please believe me…” Gilbert covered his cheeks

and was still determined to rush over.

“Don’t come near me! You are hereby dismissed from the company with immediate

effect. Get out!”

Jenson kicked Gilbert away, then turned his attention to several security guards next to him, “Security!

Please escort him out of the building!”

Leon had nothing personal against the security guards, so he stayed his strength when going against

them earlier.

Therefore, the guards only needed a bit of rest to recover their strength and stand back up.

After receiving Jenson’s orders, they began to despise Gilbert for nearly implicating

them too.

“Mister Wolf, I’d like to ask for your forgiveness on behalf of the atrocious behavior that our company’s

staff have shown to you and your friend.” Jenson smiled apologetically and bowed his hands respectfully

to offer an apology.

“You’re too polite. It’s fine as long as you’re able to excuse my rash behavior…” Leon scratched his head

a little embarrassedly and felt somewhat remorseful. After all, he was the one who engaged in a brawl at

Jenson’s company and made a whole mess of their place, yet Jenson took the initiative to apologize to

him instead of blaming

him.
