The Divine Marius sighed lightly and nodded slowly.

Emperor looked at Thea, who was being tormented by fire and lighting, then said, "We're in trouble. Even James might not be able to save her." The Divine Marius opened his eyes and said, "We must save her! Otherwise, how will I explain this to James?" After speaking, his body released a dazzling light, and he instantly transformed into a purple-gold beast. His tentacles reached out to the flames and lighting surrounding Thea, then began shoving them into his mouth.

Thea suddenly raised her head and shouted, "You're not a match against him! Leave!" The Divine Marius, revealing his true form, ignored her plea and continued to devour the flames and lightning.

As the voice faded, countless flames and lightning from the surrounding void hurtled toward Thea with greater intensity. After consuming the last flames, Marius spread his entire massive body into the shape of a hand fan to shield her from the attacks.

Each lightning strike inflicted deep wounds on his colossal form, exposing bone. As flames closed in, his scorched flesh hissed and emitted ominous white smoke.

Under the onslaught of relentless lightning and flames, Marius' body becincreasingly engulfed by the inferno and electrical fury. Soon, his body was nearly completely burnt. Yet, despite the overwhelming assault, he remained steadfast in shielding Thea, showing no sign of retreat.

"Divine Marius!" Thea cried, tears streaming down her face, attempting to break free from his protection, only to find herself immobilized.

At that moment, a graceful figure rushed forward, appearing atop Divine Marius' massive shoulders.

"He's my man! I'm the only one who can hurt him! Others, begone!" With a commanding growl, Taichu extended his hand and unleashed a stream of dazzling lights to form protective barriers to block the barrage of lightning and fire.

Marius protested, "Why are you meddling, you foolish woman? Get out of here! I don't appreciate your help!" Taichu snorted, "Who's asking for your appreciation? You're overthinking it. I'm doing this for the sake of my beloved Yin governor, not you." Marius insisted, "Leave..." Before he could finish, another figure wielding a scepter dashed over and took position on his other shoulder. He immediately cast colorful lights around them to defend against the lightning and fire.

Marius shouted with a quivering voice, "Are you also bent on adding to the chaos, Zdravko?" Zdravko asserted, "I'm not causing any trouble. I simply can't bear to see the Yin governor in pain." After speaking, he pointed his hand, and a brilliant purple-gold gate materialized. A powerful Innate Energy instantly emerged and surrounded Zdravko.

Marius said helplessly, "If you hadn't intervened, perhaps I could have persuaded him to stop. But now..." A potent voice instantly erupted from the void.

Zdravko spat out blood and tumbled from Marius' shoulder.

"Lyla!" Thea shouted anxiously. The next moment, her body emitted a dazzling purple-red glow and pierced through the barriers. Marius, Taichu, and everyone else gasped as Thea underwent a drastic transformation within the purple-red light.

Taichu exclaimed anxiously, "She might succumb to a corrupted path." Marius shook his head and protested, "No! You mustn't, Yin governor..." Unfortunately, it was already too late.

After being corrupted, Thea effortlessly summoned several purple-black lotuses and obliterated the flames and lightning.

The Wrymscale Source trembled violently as the explosions occurred consecutively.
