Chapter 228 Hospital? Sage was a little surprised. Was someone injured? Why did he need her there? But before she could ask any more questions, lan had already hung up the phone.

Just then, Terry's voice cfrom outside the door. "Mrs. Holcomb, please cdownstairs when you're ready. I'll go start the car right now.' lan was really efficient. Terry was already outside her room before she could think about it or refuse. Sage changed out of her pajamas, put on a loose T-shirt, and grabbed her purse before heading downstairs.

Sage racked her brain but couldn't recognize him. Then, she thought, "Whatever." She pulled out her phone and called lan.

Just then, the door to the emergency room swung open. The nurse wheeled a patient out. Sage took a look and was shocked to see Ivy. How did she end up in the emergency room? All 1/2 of a sudden, she had a bad feeling.

"Ivy, are you okay? I was worried sick!" The middle-aged man cried and threw himself at Ivy. The slightly overweight man was Ivy's father, Ronald Shekdotter.

"Sir, please step aside. The patient has just had her stomach pumped, and she needs to rest, "the nurse reminded. Ronald then took a step back.
